In Concert: Proteus Saxophone Quartet

On Thursday October 1st the Proteus Saxophone Quartet will perform a concert with music by UVic composition professor John Celona, self-described prairie composer (but living in Victoria) Justin Boechler, renowned Canadian composer Robert Lemay, Paris composer Karol Beffa, as well as an arrangement by Antonin Dvorak.

Formed in Paris in 2011, the Proteus Saxophone Quartet is dedicated to expanding and promoting Canadian repertoire for saxophone quartet. The quartet has performed recitals in France, Canada, and the USA.
